We operate on three levels:
1: PROJECT LEVEL
Scrum started as a way to develop software, but has evolved into a solution for those aiming to successfully execute all kinds of projects. How it works:
Advised by us, the client defines our mandate. And we discuss the prerequisites.
We form and train the Project Team, we bring the stakeholders up to date, and we arrange the necessary facilities.
- Project Kick-Off
The Team and the Product Owner define all shared ambitions and create the backlog of actions.
In a number of sprints, the Team delivers instant value and works steadily towards the particular end-goal.
2: PROGRAM- AND DEPARTMENT LEVEL
If you want to run a program or full department, Organize Agile has developed Agile Portfolio Management (APM). APM gives you the ability to (1) gain deeper understanding of your ambitions and activities, (2) connect those activities and people, and (3) prioritize dynamically. How it works:
- The Agile Portfolio Intake
The Agile Portfolio Management (APM) trajectory starts with an intake where we discuss the following conditions: a possible theme of the Agile Portfolio, the composition of the Team, the deadline for the Agile Portfolio and the frequency of the meetings.
- The Foundation
In two half-day sessions we guide the Team and lay the foundation for the Agile Portfolio. We formulate ambitions and map the corresponding projects and priorities. To every project and priority we attribute account holders, we visualize the connections and practice the APM meetings.
- (Bi) weekly Portfolio Meetups
After building the Agile Portfolio, we plan Meetups every one or two weeks. During the Meetup the Team checks the projects and priorities, decides on tactical adjustments and shares highlights. During these Meetups we invite Team members to give short presentations (demos). The Meetups replace traditional meetings, take 30 to 90 minutes max. and are facilitated in an efficient manner.
An organization that works with APM is constantly aware of the current priorities, sees where valuable connections can be made and knows what is happening ‘on the ground’. The Teams grow Agile and deliver stronger results faster, which benefits the organization as a whole.
3: ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSITIONS
Agile Organizations are completely flexible in meeting the ever-changing demands of their environment as well as their customers. Organize Agile guides organizations in agile transitions all across the company, helping all departments to become Agile.
An Agile transition and Agile transformation is not a linear process. We believe:
- in organic growth where change is implemented gradually but strongly. Have employees experience what the impact of working agile is.
- in a combination of top-down and bottom-up perspectives supported by a clear vision for change.
- that the agile organizational change should be agile in and on itself, not a preconcerted trajectory.
